The speaker for this morning is our brother Chee Hoe. His message of encouragement is titled “I am the VINE” that is the second sermon in a series of “I Am” from the gospel of John. He spoke on “I Am The Bread Of Life” not too long ago.

BIBLE CLASSES
Brother C.B. Gan teaches the penultimate lesson of the series Walking With God called  “The Church - Bride of Christ.”
A new 12-lesson series on the First and Second Peter will start on 9 October. Work sheets will be distributed to all class members next week. Be punctual, be prepared and  attempt  to share your answers as  we  embark  on a new spiritual feast.
The teacher for the junior Bible class is our Jun Ning.
HOMECOMING
We have a good get-together last Thursday with nine former LST readers and 16 of our brethren. A big thank you to the organizers for making this occasion a time of bonding with the readers.
CELL & CARE GROUP
There will be a fellowship dinner with all cell and care group members next Thursday at 7.00 pm in the church premises. Do keep that day free as this is a good opportunity getting to know one another better.
MEETINGS
The leaders will have their monthly meeting next Sunday after lunch to discuss matters regarding to the Lord’s work here. The ladies will use this time to have their Bible studies about Mary and Martha from the women of the Bible.
UPCOMING EVENTS
(1) Home fellowship dinner in the Shee’s residence in Subang Jaya on 8 October.
(2) A visit to the Sunbeam Orphanage on 16 October from 2.00 till 5.00 pm.
(3) A Local LST session to commence in October on a date to be announced
PUCHONG CAMP
The Puchong brethren have extended an invitation to those who are interested to participate in their family camp in Kampar, Perak from 22 till 24 December. The key note speaker is brother Henry Kong from the Pasir Panjang congregation. For more details, kindly check with brother Steven Shee.

God’s wisdom and blessings - for the upcoming events planned to have a better bonding with the students especially Sheng Seng (UKM), Weng Chin, Jin Yen, Chun Yi, Wei Hung, Luh Ping, (KTAR) Ching Sen and Yao How (UTAR)  .
God’s strength and comfort - for our sister, Yin Cheh working in Butterworth for deeper conviction to defend her faith.
God’s grace and mercy - (1) Lee Han Seng from the Ipoh congregation - awaiting for his third chemotherapy for his testicle cancer in the Subang Jaya Medical Centre
(2)  Freddie Lai from PJCoC - awaiting for angiogram tests in Serdang Hospital
(3) Teh Bond Seng, a friend of the Chongs for laser treatment for his head.
(4) Kenneth Tuak (Jesslyn’s brother) - his condition is stable and will undergo surgery on his leg when his fever is gone.
(5) Chan Kam Moon (Lai Hing’s father) - his health and salvation.
