SERMON

Our speaker for this morning is Brother Naveen from Seremban Church of Christ. His sermon title is “Reflections of Jonah” with referring to the scripture text of Jonah 1:1-3 and 4:11.

NEW ADDITION

We rejoice with the angles in heaven as two precious souls were added to the Lord’s church in Wangsa Maju on November 4. They are Brother Woo Keat Sam and Sister Lai Chin Ching. They have been attended our services since September 2009 and they are regular members of the SCG. Let us get to know them better.

BIBLE CLASSES

This week adult and youth will have combined bible class which teaches by bro. Mithiran on the title of ‘crucifixion’. The children class will be taught by Sister Christie Gan. 

STUDENT CELL GROUP

Last Wednesday there are 15 students attended the SCG. Next Wednesday we will learn on “Repentances” at our regular meeting place. We welcome all KTAR and UTAR students to join us, dinner are provided.

 LST ORIENTATION

There are 21 people attended the LST orientation on last Thursday evening. Reading appointments will make for the new readers with Sister Belinda and Sister Caroline from Pasir Panjang. Thanks all who supported this program.

UPCOMING EVENT

Dec 3-5 2009 : Family Camp in Casa Rachado, Port Dickson. The camp theme is “Equip To Serve” while the speaker is Brother Charles Cook from Pasir Panjang CoC.

Dec 6-10 2009: Seminar on the book of Ephesians by Brother Charles Cook.

Dec 28-31 2009: Pasir Panjang Youth Camp at Singapore. Camp fee is S$35 (for Wangsa Maju Youth only). Kindly register before 22.11.2009 and arrange transport to Singapore with Brother Philip.

               

******* In Your Prayers and Thoughts ******* 

LST - physical well being of the teachers (Sister Belinda and Sister Caroline) and also the readers will keep their appointment for their reading.

Sundra - his strength to overcome the pain in his back and a decision on whether to go for surgeries  to solve his spinal problem.

Dexter - as he makes preparation for his SPM on 17 November. 

Kok Pern - that he will find a job with regular working hours
