BIBLE CLASSES
Brother Chris Chin is the teacher for the adults’ class. He touches on the subject of Taking Revenge from the text of Matt 5:38-42. Brother Steven Shee teaches the youths from The Distinctive Pattern Of The New Testament Church. The teacher for the children’s class is sister Christie Gan.
STUDENT CELL GROUP
There are 13 people attended the SCG on last Wednesday. Next week lesson is about the word of God. We continue to meet at the regular meeting place at 7:30 pm with dinner provided. We encourage all students to be part of this SCG.
PUBLIC SPEAKING WORKSHOP
Last Saturday, 18 students participated in the one-day public speaking workshop conducted by brother Philip Loh. We thank our Lord for their interest in wanting to improve their public speaking. We also would like to record our appreciation for elder Winston in giving an overall speech about the students’ assignment and others who supported this occasion.
LST HOME COMING FELLOWSHIP
Last Thursday we have 17 people present for the home coming fellowship. We have good time in sharing food and hearing testimonies from the readers about how much they have benefitted from the English lesson of LST.
THURSDAY ENGLISH CLASS
Beginning 22nd Oct, we resume our English class about grammar and vocabulary at 7:30 pm with Dr. Sharon Lee as our facilitator. We encourage students to be here to help improve their writing skill.

Thanksgiving - the students, Siew Ching, Ying Jun, Yin Cheh, Lai Ming, Jesslyn, Tsu Yee, Yeong Shuen, Wai San and Fione for passing their examinations taken last semester.
LST - the readers’ appointment and that God will protect their time to enable them to be present for their reading schedules
Loh Kong Onn & Shia Siew Chan (parents of Philip) - their physical health and their salvation,
Sundra - his continual recovery from his spinal problem and spiritually strong to overcome persecution,
Dexter - as he sits for his SPM on 17 November.
