To  all  of  those  who  are visiting with us today, we wish to extend a  warm welcome to you. 

SERMON

This  morning, brother Seah shares  his  thoughts about “Did You Ask For  This?”(2) Is intelligence  the  same  as  wisdom?  In  today’s world, knowledge  is growing at an exponential rate. Does the mere gathering  of  more  and  more  knowledge  (facts)  means  that   mankind is getting wiser?

BIBLE CLASSES

In a combined class of adults and youths, brother Seah continues to teach us about Living Together - In The World. In the children’s class they   learn   about  “Abraham  -  The  father  of  nations”  taken  from Genesis chapters 11 to 15.

CHINESE SERVICE

The  Chinese  service  begins  at  5.00 pm  today  with  a lesson about “Why  we  believe  that  Jesus  is  the  Christ  the  Son  of  God.” All are welcome to attend this service.

STUDENT CELL GROUP

Last Wednesday, 18 people attended the weekly student cell group in their usual venue.  This  week the group continues to meet at 7.30 pm to  have  their  last  lesson  in  the  series  about Jesus entitled “Closing Fellowship.”

APPRECIATION

We  want  to  thank  sisters  Pearly,  Lai Hing, Jun Ai, brothers Kok Pern and  Minghui  for  painting the campus minister’s office and the youth class  last week. We appreciate your labour of love for the Lord. 

AUGUST BABIES

We offer  birthday wishes to our sisters who celebrate their birthdays in August. They are Yin Cheh (11), Pamela (20) and Ying Jun (21).

AGAPE FEAST

Next  Sunday,  being the first Sunday of the month, we shall have our agape feast.  Kindly write down what you would like to contribute on the paper posted on the notice board.

MEETINGS

The men and the ladies will meet next week after the agape feast. Kindly keep that time free to participate in the respective meetings.
