BIBLE CLASSES
Mt 3:13-17 records the baptism of Jesus our Lord by John at river Jordan. This is a major event of Jesus’ life which marks the beginning of His public ministry. John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. But yet the sinless Saviour of the world humbly persuaded John to baptize him. The heavens were opened! A voice from heaven declared Jesus as the Son of God!The Youth class continues the series on “I Don’t Know What To Do!” The children studies about Cain and Abel & the first Murder, Seth, hope for the future, Enoch in their class.
CHINESE SERVICE
We had 14 people present for last Sunday. This evening at 5.00 pm, the lesson is about ‘Facts We Need To Face.’ Brethren are encouraged to support in this area of the Lord’s work..
MEETINGS
The men of the congregation will gather in the larger classroom for their committee meeting after their lunch. At the same time, the ladies meet in the front portion of the auditorium to have their class.
LST UPDATES
The LST session ended with a resounding success with 29 readers present to receive their certificates last Thursday evening. The final reading hour was on Friday at 4.00 pm and they read a total of 43 hours this past week.
We thank Kelley and Pat for their valuable service in helping out with
the campus ministry and if the Lord wills, we shall see them again. Brother Seah who was with us in the early part of June will continue reading with the readers from next Tuesday till the end of July.
STUDENT CELL GROUP
This group continues to meet in their usual venue every Wednesday at 7.30 in the evening. Last week 15 people attended the cell group meeting and thank them for their support. The Spiritual Blessings In Christ will be the lesson for this week.
THURSDAY ENGLISH CLASS
Due to the numerous requests by the readers of the recent LST, our Thursday English class resume on 16 July at 7.30 pm in the church building. The classes will be conducted by sister Sharon Lee.
