SERMON

Kelley Clowe is our speaker this morning and his sermon is “The Stars, The Blood And A Chicken.”

BIBLE CLASSES

The  adult  Bible  classes  will  be  taught  by  the leaders  of  WM  on a rotation basis.  For  the  next  six  months, the leadership will teach on Jesus and the Sermon on the Mount from the gospel of Matthew. The first  lesson  begins  on  the  genealogy  of  Jesus  from  Mt 1:1-17  that gives  us  insight  into the genealogy of grace. This is truly God’s grace in nurturing, protecting and bringing the seed, our Messiah Jesus into the world.  Let  us  remind  ourselves that Jesus is our eternal King and His kingdom will last forever!The  children  is also starting a new series in their class learning about the   books  of   the  Law.  Sister  Sharon  is  the  teacher  for  July.   The youth class resume with a lesson entitled “Self Image.”

AGAPE FEAST

Everyone  is  welcome to partake of the agape feast immediately after worship today. We thank all those who have taken time off to prepare all those sumptuous dishes.

 

LST UPDATES

We  continue  to give thanks to God for allowing the students to keep their appointment for the readings. Kelley and Pat have taught a total of 38 hours last week.   The  LST party last Thursday was well attended by   16   readers   and  14   brethren.   The   certificates  of  participation  handed  to  all  the  readers  will  be the highlight of the LST party next Thursday.

 STUDENT CELL GROUP

This  group  meets  every  Wednesday  evening at 7.30 in their regular venue.  The   lesson  for  this  week  is “The church of

Jesus.”  We thank the 14 people who supported the cell group meeting last week.

APPRECIATION

We   thank   sister  Jun  Ai  for  conducting  last Saturday’s baking session She  demonstrated   the  All  Nutty  and  Chocolate  Chip  Cookie.   Sister  Eileen   showed    how   to   make  Glutinous  Rice Cake while  sister  Lai  Hing baked  a  santan  chiffon  cake.  Many  of   the  college  students   attended   this    fellowship   that   was   after  a  well   participated   mock   job  fair conducted by brother Philip Loh earlier.

Sundra - our brother is in UMMC undergoing a new course of therapy to help eliminate the dependence of drugs for the pain in his spinal cord 

LST - the students’ continued interest as Kelley and Pat embarks on the final week of reading. Also for His protection when they travel back to Dallas this Friday’s flight at 11.45 pm from KLIA.
