SERMON

Our   brother  Dino  delivers  his  farewell  message  to us this morning using Matt 5:1-12 as the text.Let us pay attention to the message and take it to heart.

NEW BIRTH

Last Wednesday, Yuen Lai Ming was baptized and added to the Lord’s body. Sister Lai Ming is a KTAR student  doing her advance diploma in Chemistry  Biology.  She  hails  from Penang  and attends  the student cell group on a regular basis.

BIBLE CLASSES

Our  brother  Dino shares with us  the  final  lesson  of “Loving God”  by sharing  the  gospel with Matt 28:18-20 as the scripture in a combined class  of  adults  and  youth.  The  children  learns about the parable of “The House On The Rock.”

CHINESE SERVICE

This evening at 5.00 pm, we have our Chinese service and the sermon topic is  “The Church Of Christ.” A new series will start next week.

LST UPDATES

Our  first  week  of  reading  with  the  college  students went well.  We thank  God  for  enabling   them   to  read  with   Kelley,  Pat  and  Siow Hwee.  There  were 43  readers  and  all  of  them  read for a total of 66 hours. There will be two LST parties on  2 and 9 July at 7.30pm.

STUDENT CELL GROUP

This  group  meets  every  Wednesday  evening at 7.30 in their regular venue. The  lesson  for  this  week is “The Gospel of Jesus.” There were 30 people present for last Wednesday’s gathering.

TILL WE MEET AGAIN

We   bid   farewell   to  our  beloved  brother  Dino  who  will  leave  for Philippines  on  30  June.  For  two  years,  he  laboured  unceasingly in preaching  and  teaching  the  Word  to us and also helped out a great deal  in  the  campus  ministry.   We  will miss you and may our God be with you in all things you do.                      

SHORT COURSES BY SIBI

The   SIBI   has   offered   two   short  courses  from  3  to  12  July  for  all interested.  They  are  “Christian  History  (c100 to c1517)   and ”Science Supports  Scriptures” to  be  taught  by  Stuart  Jones,  and  elder at the Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock, Texas and “The Identity Of The N.T. Church (Part One)” to be taught by Charles Cook. For full details, kindly refer to their letter on the notice board. Jun Ai and Zachary will be attending the courses. 

BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS

Our  birthday  babies  for  July  are  Zachary (19), Hua Feng (20), Chris Chin (20) and Steven (25). 

AGAPE FEAST

We  shall  have  our  monthly  agape  feast  next  Sunday  after  worship service.   Kindly   write  out   what   dish   you  would  like  bring  on  the  list  posted  on the notice board. 

MONTHLY MEETINGS

The  men  and   the  ladies  will  have   their  respective  meetings  after the agape feast next week.   

PLACING MEMBERSHIP

Last Sunday, brother Sundra indicated his desire to place his membership with the Wangsa Maju church family. .

Lai Ming - our new sister in her spiritual walk with the Lord. 

Sundra - our brother had a fall last week and is in Selayang Hospital and he will be discharged tomorrow. 
Dino Roldan - journey mercies when he travels back to Baguio

City this Tuesday. 

LST - the health of Kelley and Pat as they continue the second week of the reading with the students.
