NEW BIRTH
We rejoiced with the angels in heaven over the baptism of Gan Hua Feng last Thursday evening. A new journey begins for our young brother as he travels along life’s road with all of us. Let us give Hua Feng our encouragement and support every step of his spiritual walk. Welcome to God’s family, brother.
BIBLE CLASSES
During the Bible class hour, the adults will continue the series about Loving God with our Money with Matt 6:19-24 as their text. The Youth will study about Rejection in their class. For the children, they will learn about the parable of the Prodigal Son taken from the text of Luke 15:17-31.
CHINESE SERVICE
At 5.00 pm today, we shall have the Chinese service. This evening’s message is about “Oath Of Alliance Given By God To The Chinese.”
SPECIAL CELL GROUP
There were 14 people present for the last gathering on 20 May in the regular meeting place. The cell group meeting takes a break and the new season will begin on 3 June.
On 15 and 16 May, five brethren attended a FriendSpeak training workshop organized by the Pasir Panjang congregation. It was to help ourselves to be equipped to reach out in a more effective way in the campus ministry. While there, they were also able to visit former Wangsa brethren who are currently working there.
FAREWELL FELLOWSHIP
After service today, everyone is invited to stay back for a catered luncheon fellowship for our much loved Roldan family. Cheryl and Patricia will leave for Baguio this Saturday, 30 May. Dino will stay until the end of June.
THANK YOU
We want to express our appreciation to brother Chris Chin and family for their contribution of children’s books for our library.
Family Care Group
On 22 May, 31 people including two visitors gathered at the Roldan’s apartment for the monthly family care group meeting. The next meeting will be held in the Chin’s residence in June.
Sowing The Seed
Yesterday, six brethren and two children went over to nearby KTAR to recruit students for the forthcoming English classes and the LST session. We thank the Lord of harvest for helping us to introduce 32 souls in this venture. If you are willing to help reach out to invite college students, please see Philip Loh.
