SERMON

This  morning,  we shall hear  from  brother  Philip  Loh who will share  with  us  a  sermon  entitled    “Golden Rule”  taken  from  the text of Luke 6:31

BIBLE CLASS

In our  Bible study  hour this morning, brother Victor Chong will teach us about  “Stepping Out in Faith” which  is our  last lesson in  a  series  of  studies  about  Practical  Christianity.  A  13-week lesson about Loving God will commence in April. 

NEW CLASS

Beginning April,  there will  be a Youth Bible class. This class will meet  in  the  room  behind  the preacher’s office. The teacher is brother Philip Loh.  

STUDENT CELL GROUP

This  group  of  students meet every Wednesday at 7.30 pm in a regular place.  This  week’s  lesson  is “Baptism.”  The  cell group will  have  its  concluding  lesson for this season on 15 April and regroup at a later date. 

THURSDAY ENGLISH CLASS

We thank  the  Lord  for opening the hearts of the students who attend the English class for the past two months. Some were so enthusiastic  that  they stayed  back  after  class  is  over  to have more studies. 

BIRTHDAY GREETINGS

All  our  April  babies  are  of  the fairer sex and they are Lai Hing (03),  Elizabeth (14),  Su Teng (15), Christie Gan (17),  Brenda (25) and Cheryl Leong (30).         

AGAPE FEAST

Next  Sunday,    being    the    first   Sunday   of   the   month,   we  shall  have   our   agape  feast  after  worship  service. The theme for  the  agape  feast   is   East   Meets   West  Cuisine. Volunteers  wishing  to  bring    their  specialities   are  kindly   requested   to   write   their names on the list posted on the notice board. 

MEETING

The   men   will  have   their  monthly  committee  meeting    next week  after the  agape  feast. At the same time, the ladies will get together for a study about Rebekah, the wife of Isaac.

Children Bible Class - a teacher to teach them for the month of April only. Teaching materials will be provided. 

Campus Ministry - students to respond positively to our invitation to our forthcoming LST sessions 

Yin Cheh - that she will be able to get a place in the university of her choice as she furthers her studies. 

Thursday English class - our new approach in breaking into groups of two’s and three‘s to meet the objective to share the Word of God with them.  

Sharon Lee - her preparation of the materials and the requirements of the students’ needs. 

Dino Roldan - his preparation for his sermons and Bible classes
