SERMON
This morning, we are delighted to hear from brother Winston Chong from the Pasir Panjang congregation. Our speaker is one of the elders. His message from the Word is titled “Soaring on Wings Like Eagles.”
Elder Winston is an accountant by profession. He grew up in Temerloh, Pahang and completed his tertiary education in New Zealand. It was there that he found the love of his life, sister Hong Ngee, a Singaporean. They have three children, Basil, Alistair and Gillian.

BIBLE CLASSES
Brother KC Cheang is the Bible class teacher for today. His lesson from the epistles of Peter is the eighth in the series of 12 lessons. The lesson is called ‘Trusting God Through Trials’ with the text taken from I Peter 4:12-19.
The teacher in the beginners’ class is brother C.B. Gan and junior Bible class is taught by sister Jun Ning.
GUESTS
The following brethren and friends were in our worship services last week were Irene Cheang, Wee Meng, Jenny with their sons, Austin and Aaron from the PP congregation, Valerie Ho (Moulmein), Kerson and Jesslyn, Khoo and first timer Gabriel Wong who is a first year actuarial science student at UTAR. Do come by and visit us as often as you can.
STUDENT CELL GROUP
The student cell group held their weekly meeting last Thursday evening in the church building. Brother Chee Hoe led the group to a discussion on unconditional love from the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37. Dinner was provided before the session.
They will meet again this Friday at 7.30 PM in the church premises. All are welcome.
MEETINGS
The men of this congregation will have their monthly leadership meeting next week after lunch. Kindly keep that afternoon free to discuss matters pertaining to our Lord’s work here.
The ladies will take this opportunity to have a Bible study about the Women of the Bible.

(1) Lee Han Seng (Ipoh congregation) - in SJMC for stem cell transplant last Friday and stay there for two weeks to monitor the progress of the transplant
(2) For Sharon’s knee to improve as she takes the prescribed medication - Douglas
(3) Khoo Swee Chem (Steven’s mother) inconsistent health problems - Steven
(4) Freddie Lai (PJ congregation) - appointment with cardiologist on 5 December
(5) Kenneth Tuak will recover from accident physically and spiritually and be used as a testimony to touch the hearts of the family - Jesslyn.
