SERMON

This morning,  we  shall  have brother Victor Chong to share with us a sermon entitled “Walking With God” taken from the text of 1 John 1:1-10.

 It is easy for us to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and hold  the Bible as the rule of faith.  In  practice  are  we  walking  with  God?  Christians  are  called by the gospel of Christ and thereby to enjoy this true fellowship with God the Father and  our  Lord  Jesus  Christ, our true God. God is Light . God is Love. Knowing Christ and abiding in His words would  maintain our fellowship and walk with God.                   .

NEW BIRTH

We rejoice with the angels in heaven over the baptism of Ronald Elambre last Sunday afternoon. Welcome to the family of God, brother. 

STUDENT CELL GROUP

Every Wednesday,  a student cell  group meets in the Gan’s home at 7.30 pm. If    you   know   of   college  or university students,  do invite them for the cell group meetings. 

FRIDAY BIBLE CLASS

The theme of our Friday classes will be focussing on Jesus. Class begins at 7.30pm. We encourage everyone to be part of this spiritual feast. 

AGAPE FEAST

Next Sunday is our agape feast with the theme “Noodles Day”. Do write what you would like to contribute on the sign-up sheet on the notice board. 

COMMITTEE MEETING

The committee meeting will be held after the agape feast next Sunday. All leaders are reminded to keep that afternoon free to discuss the Lord’s work here in Wangsa Maju.   

LADIES MEETING

The ladies will also meet after the agape feast next Sunday.  Sister Sharon will facilitate the meeting.

A fellowship gathering with the theme “Noodles and Simple Food” on a pot-luck basis will be held in sister Lai Hing’s residence on Monday, 8th December at 6.00pm. Everyone is welcome for this occasion. 

INVITATION

We receive an invitation from brother Andrew Chan (PJ CoC) to join him and his wife Pik Kay for a thanksgiving for his first born son on 20 December at 7.00pm in their residence at 11A, Jln PJU 1A/29A,  Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. 

PLANNED  ACTIVITIES

We encourage our youths to keep 17th -20th December free to be with the Pasir Panjang youths in the programmes to foster better fellowship. Do take a look at the detailed poster at the entrance of the auditorium 

FAMILY  CAMP

This year, the family camp will be at Fraser’s Hill on 21st – 23rd December. The theme is “Bonding in Christ”. The speaker for the camp will be Tom Goracke from the Pasir Panjang church.    Please pay the total camp fees of  RM164/-  to  brother  Victor as early as possible.

Ronald Elambre  – our new brother in his faith and also his trip back to the Philippines tomorrow to seek further treatment for his leukemia. 

Ronaldo Begonia - as he travels to the Philippines next week for his annual vacation.  He will be back early January 2009. 

Frank and Mary Downes (Parents of Sharon Lee) - their health and physical well being. 

Chong, Tek Liong (father of Victor Chong) - continued improved general health. 

Dino Roldan Sr. (Dino Roldan’s father) - steady recovery from his stroke.
