SERMON

This   morning,   our   speaker   is   brother   Ong  Chong  Fatt, from the Petaling Jaya Church of Christ. His sermon is entitled, “God Does Not Give Up” (Mark 5:1-20). 

BIBLE STUDY

This  morning’s  bible  class  is  the last in the thirteen week-study on ‘The   Leaders   of   Israel’. Our  leader this week’s study is Nehemiah. Nehemiah  was  a  Hebrew  and  the cupbearer to the King Artaxerxes of Persia.

Hearing of the ruined condition of Jerusalem, he prayed and then asked Artaxerxes to send him to Jerusalem as the Governor. His request was granted. He organized the Jews, rebuilt the city  walls, and reinstated religious observances of the Jewishlaw.  The  story  of  Nehemiah is related in the books of Nehemiah and Ezra. 

NEW BIRTH

We have a new brother in Christ!

Ronaldo  Begonia  was  baptized  last Sunday afternoon after worship services.   Brother  Ronaldo  has  been  attending  worship  at  Wangsa Maju  C.o.C.   for   the   past   two   months.   Ronaldo   comes  from the Philippines and currently working in Kuala Lumpur. Welcome brother Ronaldo to the family of God! 

LST UPDATE

This  year   Let’s  Start  Talking  session  has  come to  a close. This past Friday  the  readers  were  awarded  certificates  of  participation  in an informal  celebration.  There  was  a total  of 43 students registered for this session of the LST readings. A  huge  thank  you  goes  out  to  our  four  LST workers; Bill and Darla Dismuke, and Kelley and Pat Clowe.         

AGAPE FEAST

We shall have our monthly agape feast next week. This month’s theme is, “Pasta and Salad”. Please liaise with this month’s co-ordinator as to what you would to contribute to the menu.
