WELCOME 

To  all  of  those  who  are visiting with us today, we wish to extend a  warm welcome to you. 

SERMONThis  morning,  our  speaker  is  brother  Victor Chong who will share with us a sermon entitled “Last Utterance” based on scripture text of Isaiah 53.God  gave  us  life  but  the  devil gave us death , even eternal separation from our  Lord.  The crucifixion was God’s design to redeem the world from sin and death. Listen  to  the Lord’s utterances at the cross .. He is our Lord and Savior with forgiving hearts.

W.M. CoC  NEWS…….BIBLE STUDY Today’s  Bible  study  is  the  ninth lesson in a thirteen-week study of the topic ‘Leaders  of  Israel’.   Let’s   study   the   life   of   King   Josiah   who led religious reformation  of  the  people  of  Judah  and 

Israel.  Find  out  how  this  tender hearted man humbled himself to the Will of the Lord.   

SPECIAL THANKSWe  want  to  thank  brother  Bobby Bligh from

California for exhorting us in a special  service  last Sunday afternoon. All who of us certainly benefit from his exhortation  on  Living  Water from the gospel of John. Thank you for coming our way in spite of your busy schedule. 

NO CHOIR PRACTICEThere  will  be  no  practice  for  the  singing  Blue dolphins today. Practice will continue  the  following  Sunday  afternoon. Dolphins, have your vocal chords rest for today.   

AGAPE FEASTWe   shall   have   our   agape  feast  next  Sunday,  7  September after worship service.  The  theme  of  the  feast  is  “Rice  and  more  rice.”  A sign-up sheet is posted on the notice board. Kindly indicate what dish you would like to bring. 

BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTSThe  brethren  who will celebrate their birthdays in September are Jun Ai (01), Rachel  (09),  Pearly (14),  Brandon (24), 

Douglas (27),  Cheryl (28) and Dexter (30). Happy birthday!!!  

COMMITTEE MEETINGLeaders of the church will meet to discuss matters pertaining to the Lord’s work next Sunday, after the agape feast. Leaders, please keep this date free. Let’s pray that God will always guide them with his wisdom. 

THANK YOUWe want to thank sister Winnie Tan from the PJ CoC for contributing some books to our children’s library. 

LSTThe session begins tomorrow and Bill and Darla is scheduled to arrive this afternoon. The first reading with the readers is at eleven in the morning. The other two workers, Kelley and Patricia Clowe are expected to arrive in KL on 6th September. 

FLORAL DISPLAYThanks to the brethren who  have signed up to bring flowers for October. there are still places available for those who would like to contribute flowers for the month of November. Do write your name next to the dates  in November that you wish to contribute.
