Issue No. 34/2010 29 Aug 2010 August 29, 2010
WELCOME
To all of those who are visiting with us today, especially our honoured guests, we wish to extend a warm welcome to you.
SERMON
Our speaker this morning is brother Victor Chong. He shares his thoughts from the Word about “Right.”
We glorify God when we follow after His truth, live right and the church remains healthy with the right sort of leadership and actively doing right deeds.
Too often, the leadership or church depended entirely on paid ministers to run the work of the church. But we see the wisdom of God when Paul in his epistle to Titus, left Titus in Crete for the right purposes – to set things in order and appoint elders in every city. What a difficult task for the young evangelist but with the potential and experience he settled things in order as Paul instructed him to do in Crete. The appointment of eldership to shepherd the church is God’s greatest wisdom and gift for the church. Prescribing the right qualifications for the right leadership. If WM church wants to continue this student ministry – then all leadership must strife for these right qualities for right leadership to lead, care, feed the ‘student sheep’. Having celebrated the campus ministry 6th anniversary – the church marked another milestone in the direction of continuing doing good works to the campus students – the teaching of English language and LST. What more, having the right gospel truth – we can all lead others spiritually to the Great God and Savior Jesus Christ!
Jesus is a wonderful savior!
