SERMONToday’s lesson is, “Heaven and Hell” based on the text taken from Job 14:14.                               WMCoC  NEWS…..IJNThe  Blue Dolphins  will  be singing for the children at IJN on Sunday, 1st June 2008 at 3.00-6.00pm. All are asked to join in to bring a little warmth and cheer to these young hearts.  

STUDENT CELL GROUPWe will have a young adult bible study this Wednesday at the Gan’s house. If you would like to be involved, please let Christie and Gan know. 

LIFE GROUPAt  7:30pm  this  Friday  (30th May)  the  Life  Group  will  meet  in  the  church building. Brother Dino will facilitate the discussion.  Do set aside this day and time to share in Christian fellowship. 

AGAPE FEASTOur  next  Agape  feast  theme is, “All Kinds of Everything”.  If you have already thought of what dish to bring, please inform this month’s food co-coordinator know  after  service  today.  There  is  a  sign-up  sheet  located  on  the bulletin board  at  the  rear  of  the  auditorium,  please do sign up if you are bringing a dish to share.

FLORAL DISPLAY

We  need  volunteers who are willing to provide flowers to beautify the Lord’s Table  on  Sundays  during  the  months  of July – September. Kindly sign your name next to the dates that you wish to donate.

COMMITTEE MEETINGCommittee members please mark your calendars for June 8th  for the next monthly committee meeting. The meeting will begin promptly after the shared lunch.  

INVITATIONThe Pasir Panjang Church of Christ has invited the Wangsa Maju members to join in  their camp at the Renaissance Melaka. The camp is scheduled to be held from June 11th – 14th. Cost for adult (Working) twin sharing – S$250; Adult (Non-working) and Youths - S$170; Child aged 4 – 11 S$80. The theme is 3Ds – Devotion, Discipline and Disciple. If you are interested, please inform the church secretary.

Continue to pray for Dicky Lian who has completed his chemotherapy treatment at the Subang Jaya Medical Centre and waiting to schedule for a thyroid operation. 

Li, Kai Yan (Lee Sock Mei’s nephew – Moulmein CoC member) Pray for his salvation and his successful treatment for cancer. 

Pray for Alexander Suy and his healing of cancer. Also, pray that God will hear his requests & pleas in extending his time here on Earth to be more of service in doing work for Him. 

Remember James Thong, Wei Long as continues to face trials due to his choice of faith and worship. Ask God to provide him with the strength and peace of mind in these difficult times. 

Dino Roldan Sr. (Dino Roldan’s father) Pray that Dino Sr. continues to make a steady recovery with physical therapy.
