Issue No. 16/2010 25 April 2010 April 25, 2010

  WELCOME

To  all  of  those  who  are visiting with us today, especially   our  honoured  guests,  we  wish  to extend a  warm welcome to you.

SERMON

This morning brother Chris Chin shares a message about “Any Given Sunday - Inch by Inch” with the text taken from 2 Tim 4:7

If you follow CNN or television news; you will not surprise to see that everyday the world is at war. A bomb explodes in the Middle East; Muslims killing Christians in Africa; suicide bomber kill innocent civilians in Russia; soldiers battling against drug lords in South America, and political protests in Thailand and Tibet. The world is whirling out of control. Your mind cannot take it in; one disaster muddles with another.

PRE-LST UPDATES

Last  Sunday  afternoon  we  had a very fruitful brain storming session as to find  out  ways  and  means to reach to the students at KTAR and UTAR  for  the  June/July  LST  period.  For  starters,  yesterday, brother Steven  Shee,  brother  Chris,  sister  Lai  Hing  and  brother  Adrian  Ng  recruited  48  students  from  the KTAR canteen. We thank God for the good  response  from the  field  and encourage other brethren to be a part of sowers in this huge harvest field every Saturday morning. To  keep  our  flames  of  involvement  burning,  there will be a weekly progress report after our lunch each Sunday.

AGAPE FEAST

Next Sunday, being the first Sunday of the month, we have our agape feast.  Everyone  is  gently  reminded  to bring  a  dish  or  two  to have more bonding with our guests and ourselves.
