WELCOMETo all of those who are visiting with us today, we wish to extend a warm welcome to you.

SERMONToday’s sermon is entitled ‘Characteristics of God’ and is taken from the book of Jonah. God our Father is merciful toward and provides second chances to all people.  As children of God, we are called to be like the Father, and we are never far from Him. He provides us with strength and guidance in our lives.

WMCoC  NEWS…..BAPTISMWe rejoice with the angels of heaven over the baptism of Rachel Khoo. Rachel was baptized last Tuesday. Welcome to the family of God, Rachel.

LST   UPDATE~

READINGS ~Thirty-three readers were present for the program orientations that were given this past week and we had an average attendance of twenty-one students in the reading sessions. The majority of students participated in an average of three sessions a week. We want to thank God for opening the hearts of these eager learners who are willing to hear about Jesus through the Gospel of Luke.

~ FELLOWSHIP ~This past Friday, our LST students, facilitators and many of our Wangsa brethren shared fellowship together. Thank you to all those who were able to joined in.  This Friday, the LST facilitators will organize a party for the readers. The theme is “Snow”. This will mark the culmination of the two-week LST study. Keep this day and time free to help us celebrate the occasion.

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

Remember to keep our LST facilitators (Chris Lawrenson, Caleb Callari and Carol Yoder) in your prayers this week as they reach out to the readers.

Brother James Thong, Wei Long continues to face persecution due to his choice of faith and worship. Pray for God to provide him with the strength to withstand these trials of faith.

Brother Dino Roldan Sr. has suffered from a stroke that has left him paralyzed on one side of his body. Remember to keep our dear brother Dino and father in your prayers in the coming weeks.
