Today’s lesson is about, “The Mighty Eleazar” (2 Samuel 23:8-10). Eleazar was one of the top three mighty men of King David. Learn the reasons why Eleazar stood up and to fight the Philistines alone and the principles he stood upon. Lend a listening ear and find out how he demonstrated his loyalty, duty, and love to his king and to his nation.

STUDENT CELL GROUP

Come and join in the group at Brother Gan’s house. The student based group meets at Brother Gan’s residence every Wednesday at 7.30pm. Study topics for this group are set as a series of lessons under the heading of, “Remember Your Creator In The Days Of Your Youth”.

LIFE GROUP

The venue for the gathering this week will be the Wangsa Maju Church premises at 8:00pm. Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so that we can have a prompt start. This Friday Brother Dino will begin the first in a series of eight lessons on “The Marks Of Maturity”. All are encouraged to attend this weekly gathering.

LADIES NEWS

The WMCoC ladies will meet on March 15th to share high tea and friendship at One World in 1 Utama. Please see Sister Pearly for more details.

LST

Our LST facilitating team from the

USA will be arriving in late March. The team members are from Amherst Church of Christ in

Texas. The team includes Chris Lawrenson, Carol Yoder, Alexander Tullis and Caleb Callari. The programme will run from 31st March – 12th April. Currently, the Church staff is managing telephone recruitment by contacting previous participants. Frontline recruitment will commence next week with the pounding of pavement. Those interested in assisting in this outreach, please contact Brother Dino.
THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

Brother Dicky Lian (PJ.

Church of Christ member) is suffering from nose & thyroid cancer. He is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment at

Subang Jaya Medical Center. Li, Kai Yan, the 26 yr. old nephew of sister Lee Sock Mei (Moulmein Church of Christ member) has been diagnosed with 4^th stage Non Hogins Lymphoma Cancer. He has already undergone the first in a set of eight treatments. It has been requested that we pray for his healing, and acceptance of Christ as his Lord and Savior.

The visitation team visits IJN twice a week to check in on, and offer prayers for the infants and their parent/s. If you are interested in this area of service, please check with brother Ganga or sister

If you have any clean, previously loved warm clothing, light blankets, or light cover-ups (for infants, toddlers or adults) that you would like to donate to this be used by this ministry, your generosity would much appreciated. Inquire with sister Doreen and Brother Ganga if you are willing to contribute.

CHILDREN

Patricia Leanny recently underwent an operation to correct her artery reversal defect. Following surgery, the doctors detected that water was collecting in her lungs and they immediately took action to correct this setback. Patricia is now in recovery. This family is from

East Malaysia and is residing at IJN with the child until Patricia is well enough to return home. Infant Natasha (infant) is scheduled for two operations. One operation is for a hole in the heart and the other an artery-reversal operation.
