BIBLE CLASS

Brother Victor Chong is the Bible class teacher for today.  His scheduled lesson is the sixth command in the Ten Commandments called “Do Not Murder.” The teacher for next week will be brother Steven Shee and he will teach the next command of “No Adultery.”

The teacher for the beginners’ class is brother Gan while our sister, Jun Ning is the teacher for the junior Bible class.

VISITING US

In our midst last week were brother Yew Chong from the Klang congregation and our regular visitor, CK Tan.

Do come by to be part of our assembly whenever you are in town.

AGM

Immediately after worship today, we shall have our Annual General Meeting as required by the Registrar of Societies. All are kindly requested to be present.

LST 2012

We thank God that He has paved a way for another LST team to be here from 2 July  to 13 August this year.  They are Jonathan Rowe, Bethany Rogers and Marsha Wade.

CELL AND CARE GROUP

Last Thursday we began the first season of the cell and care group at 7.30 pm in the church building. The cell group was led by brother Gan. The topic of discussion is about God. Brother KC is the facilitator for the care groups concerning Conversational Evangelism. The combined attendance was 16 including four students.

Chee Hoe -  (1) For God to provide him with wisdom and time to study properly for exam

C B Gan - (1) Thank the Lord, El Shaddai, the all sufficient One, for taking control of all the challenges he faced during the last 3 months in one of his most difficult work assignments

(2) For God to help, heal and strengthen those who missed today’s worship due to health and personal challenges

Elizabeth - (1) For her mother, Lai Hing who is not feeling well today

(2) For exam so that she will study hard and do her best

(3) For Brenda’s quick recovery

Christie - (1) Wanting to give thanks to the Lord, Jehovah Jireh, for all that He has provided and that He will continue to provide
