SERMON

Today’s sermon is about, “Sharing The Gospel”(based on Matt. 28:19). Evangelism is central to our mission, as described in Jesus’ “Great Commission”. Jesus told his apostles to teach people to obey everything he had commanded them. One of his commands to them was to preach. Therefore, the apostles taught believers to obey Jesus’ command to preach the gospel. In effect, Jesus gave a self-perpetuating command. Future disciples were to carry on the commission.

The Greek word that has been translated in English as “preach” is euaggelizo. It’s meaning in Greek is “to bring or announce good news.”

AGAPE FEAST
