SERMON

This week’s sermon is on evangelism and “God’s Plan for Growth” (Ephesians 4:1-16). God designed a plan for each of us to grow spiritually. Each one of us should function as a part of the united body that makes up the church. Unity may begin through the ministry of particular individuals, but it continues through the response of the entire body of believers. The impact of the teachers of God’s word is to prepare all of God’s people for works of service.

VISITATION

Our weekly visits to those suffering from ill health, worry, and despair at IJN continue. If you would like to join the visitation group to provide prayer and hope to the families of these precious children, please communicate your interests to brother Ganga or sister Pooi Lai.

LIFE GROUP

The next Life Group meeting will be at the Gan’s residence on Friday February 1st. Please arrive before 8.00 pm., so that we can have a prompt start. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us in this weekly fellowship.

BIRTHDAY

Those who will be celebrating their birthdays during the month of February are:
Siow (02), Dino (08), Dwayne (11), Sharon (13) and Caitlynn (20). Remember to say a special prayer for each one of our family members on their special days.

EACH ONE WIN ONE

All are reminded to hand in your ‘pink forms’ with the names of those whom you want to focus on in your prayers and campaign for Christ. The forms need to be given to your respective group leader today.

CHURCH CAMP

The Pasir Panjang Church of Christ has extended an invitation for Wangsa Maju CoC join them in a church camp. The venue is the Renaissance Melaka Hotel from 11-14th June 2008. For further details refer to the notice board at the rear of the auditorium.

Sharon Lee is recuperating at home from her recent surgery.
Chan, Kim Foh (KL church member) - recuperating at home after warded in Pantai Medical Centre
Wong, Jia Ern (infant at IJN) is in the intensive care unit (ICU) due to a lung infection.
Tan, K. Von (baby in IJN) is still in the Paediatric ICU for observation.
Chan, Kam Woon (father of Lai Hing) - fell and damaged a nerve in his back.
Sylvia Yeow (Eileen Shee’s friend) - emotional well-being and salvation
Yoke Peng & Kenny Wong (parents of Wong, Jia Ern). - to recognize God, yearn for salvation & trust in the power of the Lord.
Yee, Beh Ning (family friend of the Shees) – for acceptance of Christ
Adelina Shee – safe travels through mountainous regions in Chiengmai & for her safe journey home at the month’s end.
Andrew Ganga – gratitude because of answered prayers in obtaining work.
