WELCOME VISITORS
To those visiting with us today, we extend a warm welcome.
SERMON
Today’s lesson is on Exemplifying Biblical Leadership with reference to 1 Peter 5:1-4. Lend a listening ear to Brother Ganga this morning to learn more about the biblical qualities that make an effective Christian leader.
COMMITTEE
All committee members are reminded to keep this Wednesday (28th November) free. The regularly scheduled monthly meeting begins at 8.00pm sharp. All members of the Wangsa Family please keep these men in your prayers as they dedicate their time and service to deliberate on matters pertaining to the Lord’s work.
FEASTING
Remember to mark your calendars for our next Agape Feast. Next Sunday will be December 2nd and a time when we all take part in a shared luncheon after worship service. Those who wish to participate through sharing a dish or two, please see Sister Eileen Shee. If you are not a confident chef or are running short of preparation time, there is no need to worry. Anything you would like to bring along to be shared will be appreciated.
BADMINTON
Due to the overwhelming response to the weekly badminton sessions, Brother Matthew has booked two courts for this Tuesday. The courts will be ours from 8:00pm -10:00pm. Do make an effort to come and join in a smashing session of fun and fitness, not to mention the fostering of closer relationships with our brethren and LST readers.
SPREADING THE NEWS
A small group from the Wangsa family met yesterday afternoon to distribute church tracts around the surrounding neighborhood. All were met with a warm reception by those in the area. If you would like to participate in spreading the good news to the people in this locality through this service, please see Brother Dino for more information.
YOUNG MEN’S TRAINING
Several of our Wangsa CoC young men turned up for the ‘Future Leaders in Training’ workshop conducted by Brother Dino yesterday. The main focus for the night was how to lead a prayer publicly. The occasion was both spiritually beneficial as well as a great bonding event for our future leaders.
