This morning we are pleased to welcome Brother Steven Shee to the pulpit. His lesson this morning will focus on how we must be fully equipped with the word, through Jesus, so to be effective in sharing the gospel.

ADDITIONAL POSTS OF RESPONSIBILITY
During the last committee meeting, the following brethren were asked to undertake the following posts of responsibility. Brother Ganga was given the task of coordinating the evangelism ministry for the church. Brother Douglas has been assigned the task of seeking out an appropriate future site for moving the Church. Finally, Brother Chris Chin has been asked to be our official building maintenance supervisor. We thank these brethren for their willingness to give their time, effort, and energy in service to the Lord’s work at Wangsa Maju.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Please keep the 15th September marked on your calendars. The Campus Ministry meeting is scheduled at 10.00AM for this day. Our objective for this meeting is to clarify the goals that we, as a Church, have in mind for this outreach service.
A generous contribution of RM2,000 was given anonymously to aid in our work here at Wangsa Maju. This donation is greatly appreciated, and we offer our thanks to the tender soul who freely gave it.
PRAYER WORKSHOP
The brethren at Puchong Church of Christ have extended an invitation to all of us to a Prayer Workshop held on Saturday, 22nd September, 2.00PM at the Church premises. The speaker will be Larry McKenzie from the Highland Church of Christ in
Dinner will be included as part of the day’s event, so there will be a fee of RM10.00 for attending. The closing date for registration of this event is Sunday, 16th September. The registration sheet is located on the notice board at the rear of the auditorium.
PRAYER REQUESTS
• Please pray for the success in the upcoming LST session (October/ November).
• Keep in mind those students who are preparing for school and college exams.
• Pray for the general health and wellbeing of those who are aged or ill of health. Those to pray for are: Brother James Baker who is suffering of severe back pain and drastic weight loss, Sister Mary Downes who is continuing her medical treatment, Brother Khaw, Seng Chye who is still suffering from shingles and Sister Doris Chan who has made great strides in gaining strength so that she may be able to walk on her own again.
