TODAY’s SERMON

Bro. Victor Chong will serve our spiritual nourishment from the first chapter of Job. His sermon entitled “Job vs Satan” will focus on faith and perseverance in facing trials. We can be victorious like him. We can pass the test!Our speaker is one of the pioneer leaders of Wangsa Maju since its inception and ever willing to serve in all areas. Bro. Dino will lead us in the congregational singing.Let us worship our Lord in spirit and in truth.

SPECIAL VISIT……….

Bro. Jun Fuentes, a Filipino naval Officer in a US Aircraft carrier and a long time friend of Bro. Dino is visiting us on August 28-31. His ship will dock at Port Klang. He will host a tour on the carrier on Aug 30. Those who are interested in visiting the carrier, please write your name on the notice board. Bro. Jun will be a guest of the Roldan’s.

STUDENT CARE GROUP

Bro. Dino and his family hosted a care group last Wednesday. There were 13 who attended. Visitors were Jeffrey and El Ling. All were inspired from the short talk by Bro. Gan on how Jesus influence our lives; others shared the power of Christ from their personal experiences. This care group is the first from the Roldan’s.

FRIDAY FELLOWSHIP

A good turn out of ten adults and four children were present at the Chin’s residence last Friday. Our appreciation to Bro. Victor for leading the group in discussing the Christian armour. Special thanks to Sis. Pearly for preparing the ingredients for the sumptuous steamboat dinner.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Regular Committee meeting on Wednesday, August 29 at 8:00 pm in the church building. All those who are in the Committee are encouraged to attend.
